Both sides agreed to further deepen political trust and implement breakthrough measures to boost trade and investment, while expanding cooperation into new areas such as innovation, science and technology, green transition, and digital transformation.
President Cuong said Vietnam would open its market to select Egyptian products and called on Egypt to facilitate greater access for Vietnamese goods. President El-Sisi affirmed Egypt’s readiness to serve as a bridge for Vietnamese businesses and products to enter the Middle East and Africa.
The two leaders agreed to establish a working group to study the feasibility of a bilateral Free Trade Agreement and to strengthen cooperation in education, people-to-people exchange, tourism, and cultural promotion.
President Cuong proposed expanding educational ties and student exchanges in emerging fields such as the halal industry, agriculture, and international relations. He also emphasized the importance of sharing experiences in cultural heritage preservation, museum management, and sustainable tourism development. He praised Egypt’s mediation efforts in seeking solutions to regional conflicts.

President El-Sisi, for his part, welcomed Vietnam’s stance on the legitimate struggle of the Palestinian people and agreed that promoting a two-state solution is key to achieving sustainable peace in the Middle East.
Regarding the East Sea (internationally known as the South China Sea), both leaders reaffirmed their support for resolving disputes through peaceful means, with respect for international law, the UN Charter, and the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), to ensure peace, security, and freedom of navigation and overflight in the region.
Following the talks, the two Presidents witnessed the signing of several important cooperation documents, covering economic cooperation and local development.
