Several commodity groups posted an increase in export value including fruits and vegetables, rice, and coffee while rice and coffee saw a strong increase of 11.5% and 8.5%, respectively.

China, the US, and Japan remained the top three importers of Vietnam.

The ministry has urged localities to regulate production plans and boost exports, and step up negotiations and market access for official exports while expanding export markets to fully tap market opportunities.
