The award has 4 categories: Digital Technology Solution and Service, Digital Transformation in Businesses, Digital Transformation among State Agencies, and Narrowing Digital Gap.

Nguyen Minh Hong, Chairman of Vietnam’s Digital Communication Association and Head of the Vietnam Digital Awards 2020’s organizing board, said: "This year’s Awards took place as the Politburo has issued Decree No. 52 on Vietnam’s active policies and guidelines to take part in the 4^th Industrial Revolution. The Prime Minister approved a national program in June on Digital Transformation until 2025 with a vision to 2030 which defines major pillars of digital transformation, including the e-government, e-economy and e-society.  The Vietnam Digital Awards is expected to contribute to Politburo’s Decree 52 and the Prime Minister’s Decision 749."

The award ceremony will be broadcast live on VTC1 and VTC2 next Sunday afternoon.
