Vietnam, Denmark step up cooperation in food safety

Phat said Vietnam hopes Denmark will support Vietnam in resolving problems of food hygiene, boost technical support, and expand investment and business operations in Vietnam: "With support from Denmark and EU countries, Vietnamese agriculture will expand the livestock sector and make it more competitiveness. We are pushing the Vietnam-EU Free Trade agreement and are looking forward to Denmark’s support in accelerating its completion."

Hansen said 130 Danish businesses were investing in Vietnam. She pledged Denmark’s support in developing Vietnam’s livestock sector. Both ministers witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding on developing high-quality breeds.
