(VOVworld) - The fifth meeting of the Vietnam – Denmark Inter-governmental Committee took place in Hanoi on Tuesday.

The two sides acknowledged the rapid development of bilateral economic and trade cooperation in recent years.  They are confident that economic cooperation and trade between Vietnam and Denmark will continue to grow and contribute to the successful implementation of the Action Plan of their Comprehensive Partnership Agreement. Vietnam’s Minister for Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung said Denmark-funded projects help boost economic growth in Vietnam. He said "We hope the Danish government will continue providing non-refundable assistance and preferential loans. This will help Vietnam fulfill its missions, help Vietnam to cope with challenges concerning climate change, sustainable growth, poverty reduction, and infrastructure."

Denmark ranks 26^th among the 112 countries and territories invested in Vietnam, with 128 projects worth 632 million USD.
