Vietnamese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang told reporters at the regular press conference in Hanoi on Thursday in response to a question from reporters regarding Chinese Taipei's new requirement for all passengers from Vietnam to show a negative COVID-19 test within six hours of boarding a flight.

Hang said Vietnam hopes that other countries and territories will instill similar regulations and guidelines and simplify immigration procedures for visitors from Vietnam in order to boost economic recovery and strengthen cultural exchanges post-pandemic.
