Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ha Kim Ngoc, who led the Vietnamese delegation to the meeting, said the Non-Aligned Movement has contributed to the struggles for peace, independence, and the sovereignty of its members.
He urged the Movement to stay united to better deal with current security challenges.
He said ASEAN countries have worked to ensure peace, stability, and development in Southeast Asia and resolve East Sea disputes through peaceful means in line with international law.
