Vietnam constantly promotes healthy, stable relations with China

During Friday reception in Hanoi for Chinese Minister of Public Security Zhao Kezhi, Mr. Trong said Vietnam is willing to work with the Chinese side to maintain high-level exchanges, well control disagreement, implement effective cooperation in all fields, and constantly promote the healthy and stable development of Vietnam-China relations.

Mr. Zhao is in Vietnam to co-chair the 7th meeting on cooperation in crime prevention and control between the two Ministries of Public Security.

Party General Secretary and President Trong highly appreciated the results of the talks between the two Ministers of Public Security and urged the Ministry of Public Security of the two countries to continue to well implement the common perception between high-ranking leaders of the two parties and the two countries in security cooperation and law enforcement. He said both sides should promote their special role in the context of a new normal, fighting the Covid-19 epidemic and reviving and developing the economy.

Chinese Minister of Public Security Zhao said the purpose of his visit is to thoroughly grasp the realization of high-level common perception, especially in law enforcement. He added that the two Ministries of Public Security will continue coordination to well implement the common perception of senior leaders of the two parties and countries, promoting cooperation in crime prevention and control, contributing to the broader development of Sino-Vietnamese relations, bringing practical benefits to the two peoples, and contributing to maintaining peace and stability in the region and the wider world.

Also on Friday, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc received visiting Chinese Minister of Public Security Zhao Kezhi. Prime Minister Phuc said he believes the visit will contribute positively to the friendship and cooperation between the two countries and the two Ministries of Public Security.
