Vietnam confirms 24,600 new COVID cases in 24 hours

(VOVWORLD) - From 4pm on Tuesday to 4pm on Wednesday, Vietnam recorded 24,623 new cases of COVID-19 in 63 provinces and cities. Since the onset of the pandemic, Vietnam’s caseload has hit 10,297,587.

On Wednesday, an additional 13,887 recoveries were reported, raising the total number of recoveries to 8,770,994. In the past 24 hours, Vietnam recorded 20 deaths.

As of Wednesday, Vietnam administered 208,810,706 doses of COVID-19 vaccine. Currently, all adult population has been vaccinated with two doses, while 51.3% of them got the 3rd dose.
