Vietnam confirms 196 COVID-19 cases, 96 recoveries on Friday

(VOVWORLD) - The Ministry of Health said that from 12 noon to 6pm on Friday, 63 more domestic cases of COVID-19 were detected in four provinces and cities, bringing the total number of cases of the day to 196. Of them, 11 were quarantined immediately after entry. 185 cases were recorded in Bac Giang (95), Ho Chi Minh City (48), Bac Ninh (28), Ha Tinh (8 ), and Hanoi (6).

By 6pm on Friday, Vietnam recorded a total of 8,350 domestic cases and 1,630 imported cases. The number of new cases from April 27 to now is 6,780. There are 17 provinces that have not recorded new cases for 14 days. 3,804 cases have been cured. 57 patients have died.
