Vietnam confirms 14 new COVID-19 infections

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam reported 14 new COVID-19 community infections from 6 p.m Saturday to 6 a.m Sunday, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

They include one case in Bac Ninh, two in Hoa Binh, two in Gia Lai, four in Hai Duong province, and five in Hanoi, all of which are linked with the hotbed in Hai Duong. The total locally-transmitted cases of COVID-19 in Vietnam so far is 914, including 221 detected from January 27.

Among the active patients, six have tested negative for the SARS-CoV-2 virus once, four twice and three thrice.
