Vietnam committed to combating terrorism

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam is committed to combating terrorism by complying with the United Nations Charter and international law, said Ambassador Dang Dinh Quy, head of the Vietnamese Permanent Mission to the UN, during an online meeting of the UN Security Council on Monday.

 Ambassador Quy urged other countries to strengthen cooperation, share information on border management, and control threats of attacks and the financing of terrorism. He emphasized the need to address the threat of terrorism, facilitate economic development, resolve conflicts, and build a fair and united society that is able to resist extreme violence and terrorism.
