During his stay, Premier Li paid respects to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum, met with General Secretary and President To Lam and held talks Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. Together with Prime Minister Chinh, Premier Li witnessed the exchange of cooperative agreements between the two countries, participated in the Vietnam-China business discussion, visited an exhibition showcasing Vietnamese agricultural products exported to China, enjoyed performances of Vietnamese traditional culture and attended a banquet. He had a meeting with National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.
At the meetings, Vietnamese leaders extended a warm welcome to Premier Li, expressing optimism about the success of the visit. They highlighted the positive momentum it would create for both nations' ministries, localities, and agencies, particularly in implementing shared high-level agreements. The visit was seen as a significant step toward making bilateral relations more effective, comprehensive, and beneficial for both countries.
The two Prime Ministers witnessed the exchange of 10 cooperation documents on transport, customs, education, agriculture, media, and banking.
