The Deputy Minister expected China to help promote Vietnamese fruit exports in the context of Covid-19 pandemic. Mr. Doanh said: “China and Vietnam has similarities in agricultural product consumption, especially longan. Besides fresh longan exports, we hope to promote fruit processing in China to boost Vietnamese exports.”

Commercial Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam Hu Suo Jin said Vietnam-China trade revenue in the first half of this year accounted for nearly 26.5% of China’s trade revenue with the ASEAN. China recently bought 60,000 tons of lychee of Vietnam’s Bac Giang province. He added the Chinese Embassy is ready to work with Vietnamese relevant agencies to boost exports and farm product exchanges.
