(VOVworld) - A senior delegation from the Cambodian Ministry of National Assembly-Senate Relations and Inspection led by Secretary of State Chheng Saroeun is on a visit to Vietnam.

At Monday’s reception for the Cambodian delegation, Deputy Inspector General Nguyen Tien Hao highlighted the inspection sector’s effective cooperation:“The relationship between our agencies has been consolidated over the years, contributing to the Vietnam-Cambodia friendship and cooperation. This is in line with the leaders’ intention to expand relations between the two countries towards “good neighborliness, traditional friendship and comprehensive, sustainable and long-term cooperation”.

Since 2003, both sides have exchanged high-level visits and shared experiences in inspection and settlement of complaints and denunciations.

During the working session, the Cambodian delegation was briefed on functions, tasks, organizational structure of the Vietnamese Government Inspectorate as well as solutions to improve the efficiency of dealing with complaints and denunciations related to land issues.

Next month the Vietnamese Government Inspectorate will organize a 3-month professional training course for Cambodian inspectors.
