“Vietnam closely follows and is deeply concerned about recent developments in the Middle East. Vietnam calls on involved parties to exercise restraint, end conflicts, increase dialogue, resolve disagreements by peaceful means, and comply with international law and the United Nations Charter, for the benefit of the people and peace and stability in the region and the world,” said the spokesperson.

Ms. Hang said that Vietnamese diplomatic agencies in Lebanon, Iran, and Israel are closely following the situation and preparing scenarios, and will deploy plans to protect Vietnamese citizens when necessary.
