(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai received British ambassador to Vietnam Giles Lever in Hanoi on Tuesday. They discussed cooperative programs between Vietnam and Britain, including Britain’s support for Vietnam in climate change response. Mr. Hai praised the results of cooperation in this area and said he hoped for further cooperation to build a global framework for climate services, support forecasting technology, and establish a legal framework for climate change.

Ambassador Giles Lever proposed a number of cooperation methods in this area, including Vietnam and Britain jointly preparing to join COP21, scheduled for November in France.
