Despite the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Vietnam’s export revenue has increased 4.2% to reach nearly 203 billion US dollars so far this year.
Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Do Thang Hai said, “The EVFTA has showed encouraging initial results as more Vietnamese export items earned increasing revenue from the EU market.“
“Besides seafood, Vietnamese’s rice were sold at a higher price of up to 200 USD per tonne. Other commodities, including mobile phones, equipment, garments and footwear are predicted to gain a firm foothold in the EU market in the time to come,” he said.
