At a meeting with Belarusian Minister of Education Andrei I.Ivanets in Hanoi on Thursday, the Deputy Prime Minister said Vietnam treasures its special traditional friendship with Belarus of which education and training play an important role.

Mr. Ha urged the Ministries of Education of the two countries to adopt new programs on education cooperation, promote delegation exchanges, and share experience in general, tertiary, and post-graduate education.

Minister Andrei I.Ivanets said there’s a great potential for further bilateral education cooperation. So far, the two countries’ universities have signed 40 cooperative agreements. The upcoming signing of the inter-government agreement on education cooperation will accelerate bilateral ties in education.
