This year’s forum themed 'Education: building forward together; stronger, bolder, better' opened on Monday and is discussing how to leverage technology, artificial intelligence and experience to strengthen the education systems and economies around the world.

Within the framework of EWF, Vietnamese Ambassador to the UK Nguyen Hoang Long attended the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)'s education ministers meeting chaired by Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Education  Alex Burghart.

The Ambassador said education is one of the priorities of ASEAN and that EWF 2022 is a great opportunity for ASEAN countries to learn about methods of cooperation between the UK and countries in the region, not only in education but also in the economy.

He reiterated Vietnam’s intention to cooperate with the UK to honor the commitments made at COP26, as well as in skills development.
