During an earlier meeting with Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Guler, Mr. Chien said that Vietnam facilitates international exchanges and cooperation in the defense industry in line with the principles of equality, mutual benefit, respect for Vietnam's laws and other international commitments.

The deputy minister suggested that the two sides study and strengthen cooperation in delegation exchanges, training, overcoming the consequences of post-war bombs and mines, UN peacekeeping, cyber security, and responding to non-traditional challenges.

Minister Guler agreed with Vietnam's proposals and expressed readiness to cooperate with Vietnam in accordance with the needs and capabilities of each side.
