(VOVWorld)-A meeting to review past border marker planting between Vietnam’s Quang Nam province and Laos’ Sekong province and make plans for this year took place in Quang Nam province yesterday. Both sides agreed to plant 18 more border markers this year and determine locations for 13 markers to clearly demarcate the borderline between Vietnam and Laos in accordance with an agreement signed in 2010 by the Vietnam-Laos Joint Committee on Border Marker Planting. Last year, the joint task force of Quang Nam and Sekong provinces planted 42 out of 60 border markers.
