(VOVworld) – Italian embassy said it would organize many activities and events in 2016 to bolster bilateral cooperation in economics and investment.
Last year, Vietnam became Italy’s significant partner with two-way trade turnover reaching more than 4 billion USD. Italian ambassador to Vietnam Cecilia Picciono said Italian investment in Vietnam has steadily increased year on year.
According to the Ministry of Planning and Investment, up to last September, Italy has 66 investment projects in Vietnam with the registered capital of around 390 million USD. Vietnam-Italy cooperation now focuses on education and training, culture, science and technology.
