(VOVworld) – Vietnam and Algeria have witnessed a fine development of their friendship and cooperation. Algerian Ambassador to Vietnam Cherif Chikhi made the affirmation at a banquet on Thursday to mark Algeria’s 58th Independence Day on November 11, and the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Algeria diplomatic ties on October 28.

According to the ambassador, Vietnam and Algeria have been consolidating their friendship and have seen growing potential in their cooperation. Chikhi expressed his hope that the two countries’ friendship and cooperation will continue to flourish.
Minister of Construction Trinh Dinh Dung said Vietnam will do its utmost to push Vietnam-Algeria multifaceted relations forward for each country’s construction and development.
