This year, Vietnam Airlines is one of the 20 best premium class airlines in the world according to Skytrax. Premium economy, which offers generous legroom and near-flat reclining seats, is now available on flights to France, the UK, and Germany and will be available on flights to Australia and Japan as of next January. Premium economy class passengers are given priority at check-in, boarding, and luggage receipt and receive a free 30-kg baggage allowance (same as business class). Priority walkways will be offered to passengers at several airports inside and outside Vietnam, beginning in 2018.

Vietnam Airlines' 4-star services are characterized by Vietnamese traditional culture. 'Pho' - a tasty dish served on board, 'Ao dai' – a stylish costume worn by the cabin crew, and ‘Golden Lotus’ - Vietnam's signature logo set the airline apart.
The World Travel Award was established in 1993 to acknowledge, reward, and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the travel, tourism, and hospitality industry. The awards are considered the 'Oscars of the Tourism Industry'.
