(VOVworld) – German newspaper Bild and French magazine Paris Match reported Tuesday that a video recorded by a passenger on Germanwings Flight 4U9525 was recovered, showing the inside of the plane moments before it crashed into the French Alps. The video was stored in a cell phone that was found undamaged at the wreckage site. Screaming intensified towards the end of the clip as passengers became aware of the danger. At the end of the clip, it can be seen that the plane’s wing struck the rocky mountain and the cabin slid away.

German air carrier Lufthansa said Tuesday that its insurers have set aside 300 million USD for possible costs related to the crash which killed 150 people. The amount will cover compensations for the victims’ families and insurance for the plane, currently quoted at approximately 94 million USD.
The Germanwings Airbus A320 crashed last Tuesday while en route from Barcelona, Spain, to Düsseldorf, Germany.
