The Vice President praised their achievements and responsibility in realising assigned tasks. Madam Thinh said: "The naval officers and soldiers have always fulfilled their assigned tasks and supported fishermen at sea. We believe that you will uphold your loyalty and responsibility to overcome any challenges and difficulties."

On the occasion, Madam Thinh and representatives of Vietnam’s Children Protection Fund and the Ho Chi Minh City-based Hung Thinh Corporation presented more than 900,000 USD to families and children of soldiers.
