At Monday’s meeting with delegates of the sixth Global Forum for Young Vietnamese Intellectuals in Hanoi, Madam Xuan urged for the building of a national brand for Vietnamese rice, enhancing the physical and intellectual capacities of the Vietnamese people, improving cultural industries, and high-value-added services, such as finance and logistics.

She asked the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to maintain the forum as a platform to connect young intellectuals, thus creating an environment for them to exchange and spread the spirit of creativity and contribute ideas for national development.

The Vice President called on proposed policies to attract talent, including 100 Vietnamese experts, who are currently abroad, to return to work in Vietnam, as part of a broader strategy to develop intellectual resources by 2030, with a vision for 2050.
