(VOVworld)-Vietnam General Confederation of Labour issued an announcement protesting China’s illegal placement of the Haiyang Shiyou-981 in Vietnam’s exclusive economic zone and continental shelf. 

In its announcement, the confederation stated that China had seriously violated international laws, and demanded an immediate withdrawal of the oil rig from Vietnam’s waters. It urged the world trade unions to voice its protection of justice and prevent illegal actions by China for peace and stability in the East Sea and the world.
