(VOVworld) – President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan has asked Tra Vinh province to develop agriculture and new models of cooperatives.

VFF President Nguyen Thien Nhan presented cows to poor farmers.

While working with Tra Vinh authorities on Sunday, Mr. Nhan asked the province to identify major fields and priorities for attracting foreign investors and assuring sustainable development.

During his visit, Mr. Nhan visited Buddhist dignitaries at the Solidarity Association of Patriotic Monks and Nuns and attended a ceremony to donate 100 cows to poor farmers in the province.
