Venezuelan President congratulates Vietnam’s Reunification Day

(VOVWORLD) -Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro wrote on twitter on Monday that today is the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese revolutionary soldiers advancing in to Sai Gon, now Ho Chi Minh City, to end the war and the US’s military intervention in the region.

With the triumphant victory, Vietnam was unified. The Venezuelan government sent a congratulatory message to the Vietnamese government and people on this special celebration.

A message posted on a website of Venezuela’s Foreign Ministry said Venezuelan people shared the happiness with Vietnamese people on the victory in 1975 and national reunification. The Venezuelan government said it will continue to strengthen political ties and bilateral cooperation for happiness of their peoples and national sovereignty.
