Venezuelan media highlights Vietnam's historic turning point for people’s benefit

(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam is making a major turning point in administrative reform after officially operating the two-tier local government model and reorganizing administrative boundaries in a streamlined, effective and efficient direction, Venezuelan media reported on Tuesday.

RadioMundial broadcaster called two-tier local government a “historic turning point for the people’s benefit, saying that the new model aims to streamline Vietnam's administrative structure by eliminating unnecessary intermediate levels, thereby bringing the administration closer to citizens and improving public service delivery.

TeleSUR, a multinational television channel headquartered in Venezuela, praised the implementation of this unprecedented reform.

In addition to administrative efficiency, according to RadioMundial and teleSUR, the “reorganization of Vietnam’s administrative boundaries is expected to open up new development space for localities, promote investment, improve infrastructure, ensure social security and strengthen regional connectivity.

All these are seen as concrete steps toward building a modern rule-of-law, service-oriented state, according to the Venezuela media.
