(VOVworld) - The Venezuelan government on Tuesday condemned the verbal attacks by US officials against Venezuelan Vice President Tareck El Aissami.

In a communique, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Delcy Rodriguez denied the accusations of drug trafficking against El Aissami, calling all evidence and argument “fake news”. El Aissami, who has consistently denied all accusations against him, said on his Twitter account on Tuesday that the allegations are an act of slander.
