Yemen’s Arabic-language al-Masirah television network reported that four aerial assaults targeted the Jarban area of the Sanhan district in the capital Sana’a province early on Sunday. US and British military aircraft also targeted a location in the Haffa area of the same province. No further details were immediately available.
According to local residents, many large explosions shook the entire city. The targets were all located on slopes and had weapons depots. The US-UK coalition has not yet commented on this attack.
The civil war began in 2014 when Houthi forces took over the capital city Sanaa, which was followed by a rapid Houthi takeover of the government.
