Pacific Partnership 2022’s two-week mission involved health care cooperation, building classrooms, training in disaster response skills, and cultural and sports exchanges. Addressing the closing ceremony, US Ambassador to Vietnam Marc Evans Knapper said he is pleased with the results the program has achieved and its promotion of cooperation between the US and Vietnam.

Phu Yen was the first destination of the Pacific Partnership 2022, which marks its 17th year of annual multinational mission in the Indo-Pacific region. In Vietnam, the PP22 team consisted representatives from Australia, Japan, the UK, and the US.
