In a speech in Saudi Arabia to 55 leaders of Muslim countries, Trump said countries with a Muslim majority should lead the battle against terrorists.

He appealed to Muslim nations to ensure that "terrorists find no sanctuary on their soil", and announced an agreement with Gulf States to combat financing for extremists.

During Trump's visit to Saudi Arabia, cooperative agreements were signed worth 380 billion USD in infrastructure development in the US and Saudi Arabia’s defense industry over the next decade.

Saudi Arabia is the first leg of Trump’s first overseas tour since he took office. The trip will also take him to Israel, the Vatican, Italy, and Belgium.
