US State Secretary John Kerry
(VOvworld) – US State Secretary John Kerry has expressed his belief in the possibility of obtaining a framework agreement between Israel and Palestine before the April deadline, but said that it would take longer to reach a final peace deal.
Speaking to reporters at his office, Kerry said the involved parties have exerted efforts to achieve a framework agreement to guide follow-up negotiations between Israel and Palestine.
But prior to final talks, there still remained various pending issues which could delay the set deadline of 9 months.
