Secretary of State John Kerry, Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and foreign ministers from European, Arab and other countries discussed the best military strategies, on how to stem the flow of foreign fighters and delegitimize the powerful IS "brand," that has drawn jihadists from several Western countries. They also searched for ways to cut the sources of revenue that IS has taken from selling oil, blackmail, robbery and selling ancient works in Syria, as well as humanitarian aid to Iraqi and Syrian people affected by the conflict. In order to prevent further IS troop recruitment, coalition countries will try to neutralize the social web network that draws in militants and supporters. Specific measures will be discussed in detail at a meeting in Morocco on December 15.
