The Department of Dyke Management and Natural Disaster Prevention under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, in coordination with the US Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City and CRS Vietnam, held a ceremony in Gia Lai province on Tuesday to hand over disaster recovery aid to people in several central provinces.
Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Van Tien, Deputy Director General of the Department of Dyke Management and Natural Disaster Prevention, expressed sincere thanks to the US administration and people, as well as CRS, for their timely assistance, helping affected communities in Vietnam stabilize their lives after the disasters.
