US proposes first in-person Quad Summit in September

(VOVWORLD) - President Joe Biden's administration has proposed the first in-person "Quad" meeting with leaders of India, Japan and Australia in late September, Kyodo News Agency said Sunday.

This in-person meeting follows the Quad's first summit held online in March. The upcoming conference will strengthen the solidarity of the four countries in the Indo-Pacific region.
