The visit is an opportunity to strengthen US-UK cooperation in trade, investment, security, and defense. Mr. Trump will meet British Prime Minister Theresa May in the Downing Street. On the D-Day on June 6 in World War II, allied forces invaded northern France by beach landings in Normandy.
Following his visit to the UK, Mr. Trump plans to travel to France, where he will meet with President Emmanuel Macron on June 6, the White House said.
