Citing President Donald Trump’s speech at the 2018 World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Mnuchin said that Trump’s priorities are bilateral agreements, but the president is considering multi-lateral deals. Mnuchin made the statement during a Congress session on Thursday. Following the US's withdrawal from the TPP, the 11 remaining signatories changed the name of the pact into the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).
