The summit at the White House was attended by US President Joe Biden, Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., and Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio.
The three leaders affirmed their unwavering support for ASEAN centrality and unity, and the ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific. The joint statement also emphasized support for a peaceful, stable, and rules-based Indo-Pacific region.
They emphasized trilateral cooperation priorities, including promoting inclusive economic growth and economic resilience, establishing the Luzon Economic Corridor, developing important emerging technologies, promoting climate partnerships and clean energy supply chains, and cooperating for peace and security.
