The budget will provide the military with the necessary resources to guarantee the safety of the American people by ensuring peace through strength, said Hegseth and Caine.

The package includes allocations for several crucial strategic projects, including 25 billion USD for a planned Golden Dome missile defense shield, 62 billion USD to modernize and sustain the military's nuclear forces, 3.5 billion USD for the Air Force's F-47 sixth-generation air superiority fighter jet platform; and 47 billion USD for ship building.

The budget also supports quality-of-life improvements for service members and their families.
