(VOVworld)- On Monday, Head of the Party Central Economic Commission Nguyen Van Binh received in Hanoi Nathan Sheets, US Treasury Under Secretary. In his address, Mr. Binh said he hoped the US would continue to support and accelerate the negotiations and signing of the TPP Agreement and help Vietnam to implement the agreement to create an environment of peace, stability, and development in the Asia-Pacific region. The US Treasury Under Secretary praised Vietnam’s achievements in socio-economic development. Nathan Sheets stressed that the US treasured the development of multi-faceted cooperation with Vietnam and considered Vietnam an important partner in ASEAN.
