Lawyer Bertrand Repolt made the statement after attending the 2nd hearing of the lawsuit filed by Ms Tran To Nga against 26 US chemical companies for producing dioxin-containing Agent Orange sprayed by the US army during the war in Vietnam. Lawyer Bertrand Repolt from the Paris-based William “Bourdon & Forestier” law firm represented Vietnamese French Tran To Nga in the lawsuit. At the hearing, representatives of some US chemical companies said that the evidence was not clear. The French lawyer said that those were just tactics to cause difficulties and prolong the procedures.Speaking to reporters, Ms Nga said she filed the lawsuit not for her own interests but for the sake of other Vietnamese victims of Agent Orange. Nga said she was determined to follow the lawsuit.
