Urgent call for fishing vessels to safety shelter

Provincial border guards have instructed more than 48,000 vessels operating in the waters to arrive at safety areas. The Ministry of Defense has urged military forces to stand by and prepare necessary resources to cope with the storm. Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Duc Phat:“Central regional border guards have kept constant communication with vessels operating in Hoang Sa archipelago. They have sent warning signals to vessels in Truong Sa so that they will not sail to the northern waters.”
