Upcoming NA session to elect key personnel of State apparatus

(VOVWORLD) - The next National Assembly session, which will open on Wednesday and run through April 8, will fill a number of positions in the State apparatus for the next five-year term, including State President, Prime Minister, and National Assembly Chairperson.

During the last session of the 14th NA, lawmakers will spend most of their time on personnel work and giving opinions on the summary reports of the State President, Government, Supreme People's Court, Supreme People's Procuracy, and State Audit Office of Vietnam.

Lawmakers are expected to adopt the revised Law on Drug Prevention and Control and a resolution which regulates the number of full-time deputies on Hanoi’s People's Council until 2026.
