United Nations: some 30,000 foreign terrorists in Syria and Iraq

He urged countries to establish a screening system to exclude them.

Mr. Laborde underlined that the international community needs judicial tools to fight terrorism, and warned that terrorist organizations are highly adaptable and flexible. He called for more cooperation with internet giants like Google, Twitter, and Microsoft, to monitor potential terrorists and urged countries to share intelligence to lessen the risk.
