Speaking on the sidelines of the Launching Workshop of National Report 2020: “Five-year Progress of Sustainable Development Goals Implementation” in Hanoi. Jones said Vietnam is doing very well, factoring in that the country had, before the pandemic, moved into middle-income status.

The report shows that Vietnam has made progress across all 17 SDGs, he noted, adding that by 2030, Vietnam will likely achieve five out of the 17 SDGs - Zero Poverty, Zero Hunger, Quality Education, Climate Action, and Global Partnerships.
